RPA can be applied to invoice processing which is a prime example
of finance and accounting operations. RPA software robots can
automate data input, error reconciliation, and some of the decision-
making required by finance staff when processing invoices. At the
same time, automation is able to limit errors in such processes and
reduce the need for manual exception handling.
In this video we show a demo of Software Bot that generates an
invoice.
The following are the steps that are automated
1) An employee sends a invoice request to Bot through spreadsheet
attached to an email which contains the information like PO number,
PO date, Order quantity and value.
2) Once Bot receives the email it automatically reads the mail and
starts generating the invoice from the given information using invoice
template.
3) After successful generation of invoice Bot sends the generated
invoice to the supervisor for the approval.
